Hi, can I come over?
Instead of flying to Denver last fall, I decided to drive — I hadn’t driven through Wyoming before and I was excited about that idea. Typically with road trips, I’ll plan the route and then check geotags on Instagram to see if there might be anyone interesting I could reach out to and ask to photograph along the way. I knew I would be driving through Rawlins, Wyoming and scrolled though tagged photos and found Ryan, a veteran and craftsman, and asked if I could drop by and photograph him at his shop.
Had the best time working with him.

It took a little coaxing but I was able to get Ryan’s wife, Hanni, to jump in a couple shots at the end. I’m happy she did.
