Photo sesh
I love shooting skateboarders. The tricky part is getting them to trust me enough to let me do a shoot with them. I am by no means a “skate photographer” — and I don’t pretend to be — so my work doesn’t really attract that crowd but I love working with them and the unpredictability of the results. Skateboarders, naturally, want shots of themselves doing tricks — they’re not so interested in the portrait or stylized part of how I’d like to shoot them. Luckily, I connected with Garrett who was up for all of it.
