I took the Robinson’s engagement pictures a number of years ago. I remember they brought some Scrabble game pieces to their session, wanting to include them somehow in the pictures because they loved playing games together — with Scrabble being the favorite. I loved it. Of course I loved it! When clients want to include something in their pictures that is meaningful to them — whether it’s a location, clothing item, or memento — you don’t even need to ask me twice if it’s a good idea or not, I’m in! So, when the Robinson’s asked me to take their family pictures last fall at the golf club — after mentioning their shared love for playing golf together — I wasn’t surprised at all. But delighted.
