Test Pilots
Take off
For a lot of young men who belong to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, it's graduate high school one month and hit the mission field the next. And, these days, it's literally about that quick. That was the case with these four buddies, who I met up with to photograph before they all started heading their separate ways. It was fun to hear them talk about their mission preparations, where other friends had been called to serve and how they all agreed that the question "So, are you excited?" was getting old - quick.
For the concept, I liked the idea of pairing the youthfulness of paper airplanes with the maturity of a new suit.
From the sketchbook - pre shoot notes.
"I hope you guys are good at making paper airplanes."
